Job summary

Vulcan in Timaru is seeking a dedicated Storeperson to join our warehouse team. The role covers stock handling, loading/unloading, and local deliveries when needed, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and 8:00am–4:30pm hours. Weekly pay and a supportive team are guaranteed as part of a permanent position.

You will handle picking/packing, receiving stock, loading trucks, and maintaining stock accuracy while upholding safety practices in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• Full Class 1 Driver Licence (mandatory).
• Storeperson or warehouse experience – picking, packing, dispatch.
• Forklift licence (F endorsement).
• Truck loading and load restraint experience.
• Experience handling steel, aluminium or other long, heavy materials (an advantage).
• A valid work visa or the right to work in New Zealand.
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.
