Job summary

MORGAN LAURENSON is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Associate to safely move, store, and dispatch fresh produce in our chilled facility. This full-time role operates 4 days per week, Sundays included, with a competitive hourly rate based on experience.

In this role you will load/unload trucks, manage inventory, and maintain food safety standards while supporting production and dispatch teams. Strong teamwork and safety focus are essential in our busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, store person, or forklift operating role.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
• Reliable, punctual and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Receive, check, and store incoming goods.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders.
• Accurately complete inventory and stock control tasks.
• Perform stocktakes and cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized warehouse.
• Ensure all products are handled per food safety and quality requirements.
• Assist production and dispatch teams as required.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.

This is a hands‑on role responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of fresh produce and finished products within our food manufacturing facility. Working with fresh produce in a chilled environment. This is a fulltime role working 4 days a week, Sundays being one of those days.

Key responsibilities

• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods.
• Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Accurately completing inventory and stock control tasks.
• Performing stocktakes and cycle counts.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised warehouse.
• Ensuring all products are handled in accordance with food safety and quality requirements.
• Assisting production and dispatch teams as required.
• Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.

About you

• Previous experience in a warehouse, store person, or forklift operating role.
• Experience within a food manufacturing or processing environment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
