Job summary

Early Settler Group is seeking a hands-on Retail Store Person to support daily store operations and help customers collect orders with a smile. You’ll assist with stock movement, back‑dock tasks, and warehouse organization to keep the store humming.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role supporting warehousing and distribution.
• Good computer skills (email, Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as part of daily duties.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, proactive and with a can-do attitude.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Loading of weekly trucks and containers with precision and care.
• Assisting customers with order collections - making it a seamless experience.
• Supporting the retail sales team with stock/product movement for the shop floor.
• Accurately receipting of goods into our operating system.
• Assembly of furniture with pride and attention to detail.
• Responsible for contributing to and upholding all OH&S requirements.
• Maintaining good housekeeping techniques and an organized, safe and tidy store and warehouse.
• To collaboratively work as part of a team, use your initiative, problem solve and handle a fast paced environment.

We’re looking for an energetic and dependable Retail Store Person to become the behind-the-scenes hero of our retail team. • As we are a furniture store, the role involves regular manual handling of products including lifting, carrying and moving items of varying sizes. Applicants must be physically capable of safely performing these tasks as part of their daily duties.
