Job summary

David Jones is seeking a Sales & Service Manager for our Newmarket store in Auckland. You will lead by example on service principles, drive sales and build a loyal customer base while coaching the team to deliver expert knowledge and seamless solutions.

As a visible leader on the selling floor, you will collaborate with store teams and stakeholders, drive continuous improvement, and ensure stock accuracy and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on service principles and engage customers.
• Coach and mentor the team to provide expert knowledge and seamless solutions.
• Be visibly present on the selling floor and inspire warmth with customers.
• Collaborate with store teams and stakeholders to drive commercial success.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and work with VM/Logistics to ensure stock is floor-ready.
• Maintain stock loss awareness and work with teams to mitigate losses.
