Job summary

North Beach is seeking a Stock Controller for our Silverdale store in Auckland. You will tackle new challenges with a great attitude, ensuring stock control accuracy and delivering excellent customer service.

The role involves cash handling, basic auditing, and number crunching in a busy environment. Two years’ stock control experience and comfort with stock software are essential, with NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa required.

Qualifications

• This role requires at least 2 years’ experience in stock control and processing.
• NZ Residency or a valid NZ Work Visa is required.
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock control processes and inventory accuracy at Silverdale store.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers on the floor.
• Operate stock management software for receipts, transfers and audits.
• Handle cash and participate in periodic stock-related audits.

Northbeach are looking for someone who is passionate, with a great attitude who is ready to tackle a new challenge as Stock Controller at our Silverdale store.

This is a busy role that would suit a mature individual who can work under pressure while paying attention to detail. You will also have the ability to provide excellent Customer Service and be a natural problem solver with great people and communication skills.

Confidence with computers preferably with stock management software is essential, combined with strong administration skills.

This role does involve cash handling and auditing, so you need to be comfortable doing a bit of number crunching too! 2 years’ experience in stock control and processing is a must.

Flexibility, prioritising your day and the ability to multi-task are a must.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
