Job summary

Chevron Traffic Services seeks a qualified STMS to join our South Island team. This full-time role supports projects across Canterbury, Marlborough, Otago and Southland, delivering traffic management for construction, roading and major events.

You will lead crews, ensure safety, and mentor staff on site. The ideal candidate holds a current STMS qualification with at least six months validity, a full class 1 licence and reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Current STMS qualification with at least 6 months validity remaining.
• Full Class 1 licence and own transport.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Drug free and committed to maintaining safe worksites.

Responsibilities

• Lead site traffic management across projects in the South Island.
• Train and mentor crew members on safety and procedures.
• Ensure safe worksites and compliant operations on all sites.
