Job summary

Isaac Construction is seeking a Traffic Management Specialist to join our Christchurch team on a permanent full-time basis. You’ll lead traffic management on Canterbury civil projects, implement TMPs, and work safely with crews, clients and the public to keep complexity to a minimum.

You’ll bring current STMS qualifications (or NZTA framework equivalent), strong safety focus, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a valid NZ driver’s licence (Class 2 advantageous).

Qualifications

• Current STMS qualification (or NZTA Road Worker Protection framework equivalent)
• Experience in traffic management within civil construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong commitment to health, safety and compliance
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Full New Zealand driver’s licence (Class 2 advantageous)
• Legal right to work in New Zealand

Responsibilities

• Implementing and monitoring Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
• Supporting construction and maintenance projects across Canterbury
• Ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient traffic management on site
• Communicating with crews, subcontractors, clients, and the public
• Contributing to a strong health and safety culture
