Higgins is seeking a permanent, full-time STMS to join our Traffic Management division from the Hamilton branch. This hands-on role leads temporary traffic management on live worksites, keeps road users informed, and ensures worksites are set up safely each day.

You’ll work closely with site teams and the public, design and update Traffic Management Plans, monitor safety, and complete daily documentation. NZTA TTM Worker certification, 2 years’ roading experience, and a Class 2 licence are

Qualifikationen

• NZTA TTM Worker certification and relevant traffic control training.
• 2 years’ experience in roading or traffic management environments.
• Class 2 Drivers Licence.
• Strong understanding of safe work practices and site compliance.
• Clear communication skills and confidence working with the public.
• Willingness to take part in an on-call roster.

Aufgaben

• Set up, manage, and remove temporary traffic management on live worksites
• Design, check, and update Traffic Management Plans to meet required standards
• Control traffic using stop/go, signs, and traffic signals as required
• Monitor site safety, identify hazards, and take action to address risks
• Complete daily documentation, records, and site reporting accurately
• Communicate clearly with the public, crews, and supervisors about site activity
