Job summary

Higgins is growing our Chipseal Surfacing operation in the Bay of Plenty, and we’re looking for an experienced Specialist Operator to join our Mount Maunganui-based crew.

You’ll be working across a range of chipseal plant and equipment, including rollers, loaders, tractor brooms, chip trucks and specialist sealing equipment. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll play an important part in helping the crew work safely and productively while delivering quality work.

Qualifications

• Chipseal surfacing experience required
• Endorsements for the plant operated (WTR)
• Proactive health and safety approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a crew
• Reliability and positive attitude

What You'll Bring

• Experience operating rollers, loaders, tractor brooms, chip trucks or similar equipment
• Proven experience in chipseal surfacing
• Relevant WTR endorsements for the plant being operated
• A proactive approach to health and safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a crew
• Reliability, positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• Pride in delivering quality outcomes for customers and communities
