Qualifications

• Teaching qualification with minimum of three years’ teaching experience.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching (Early Intervention) or postgraduate qualification in Educational and Developmental Psychology, or equivalent, desirable.
• Experience collaborating with education professionals and agencies to meet needs of children and young people with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify factors influencing learning, wellbeing and behaviour.
• Collaborate with the child’s support network to understand needs and behaviours.
• Support adults around the child to improve learning environment and safety.
• Facilitate access to wider services (speech and language therapy, agencies).
