Job summary

Sofitel Spa at AccorHotel in Queenstown is seeking a luxury spa therapist to deliver personalised spa journeys and signature treatments to our guests.

You will provide massage therapies, using a range of techniques to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension, and support recovery, with exposure to premium brands such as L’Occitane. The role requires a Level 3 Massage Therapy certificate and a minimum of 12 months’ experience in a similar luxury spa setting.

• Provide effective massage treatments using a range of techniques to promote relaxation, improve circulation, relieve muscle tension and enhance sports performance.
• Carry out the beauty treatments to a high professional standard.
• Minimum 12 months experience in similar role.
• Experience with L’Occitane treatments or other luxury brands.

• Provide effective massage treatments, using a range of techniques that promote relaxation, improve circulation, relieve muscle tension and enhance sports performance
• Use other techniques, such as acupressure or Shiatsu, and complementary aids, such as infra‑red lamps, wet compresses, ice, essential oils, and herbal and mineral therapies, to assist recovery
• Carry out the beauty treatments to a high professional standard
• Enjoy delivering five star treatment to our guests, with high attention to detail
• Establish long‑term relationships with local clientele and benefit from incentives

You will harness your luxury attitude, with humble excellence, a distinguished presence, and elevated emotional intelligence. Your pride and passion will be complemented by:

• Level 3 Certificate in Massage Therapy (NZQA equivalent)
• Previous experience in a luxury spa or hotel environment is preferred
• Minimum 12 months experience in similar role
• Experience in retail sales would be advantageous
• Experience withLÓccitane treatments or other luxury brands
• Confident with beauty and maintenance treatments
• Ability to work varying shifts including weekends and public holidays

Guaranteed 30 hours per week, day, evening and weekend shifts. Starting at $30.79 - $32.34/hour
