Job summary

Atlas Chefs in New Zealand is seeking an enthusiastic Chef to join a busy hotel kitchen, delivering quality country-style dishes for lunch and dinner. You should be trade qualified with 3+ years’ experience, strong work ethic, excellent communication, and a hands-on approach to menu planning.

Accommodation, meals on shift, and transport are provided. You’ll work with a small team of 3–4 in a venue serving bistro-style menus.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification with three or more years’ kitchen experience.
• Strong work ethic and excellent communication.
• Able to produce consistent quality and contribute to menu planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lunch and dinner for 150–200 covers.
• Assist with menu planning and suggestions.

• Possess a strong work ethic and have excellent communication skills
• Can produce consistent quality

• Own traditional uniform and knives
• Have a keen eye with high attention to detail
