Job summary

Frontline Recruitment in the Bay of Plenty is seeking a qualified Sonographer to join a collaborative, patient-centred imaging team. The role offers a five-day week Monday to Friday with no weekends, and a strong emphasis on clinical quality and staff wellbeing.

You will perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, contribute to accurate imaging records, and work closely with radiologists and referring clinicians in a modern environment designed for professional development and long-term career

Qualifications

  • Registered with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB).
  • Current Annual Practising Certificate.
  • Minimum one year of post-registration sonography experience.
  • Strong technical and clinical ultrasound skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
  • Current New Zealand working rights.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations across a diverse caseload.
  • Deliver professional and compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records.
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, sonographers, and referring clinicians.
  • Contribute to the delivery of efficient, high-quality imaging services.
  • Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety remain at the centre of care.
