  • Building strong relationships with business leaders, vendors, partners and stakeholders.
  • Managing operational and capital budgets and ensuring value for investment.
  • Coaching and developing talented teams while championing continuous improvement.
  • Staying ahead of emerging technologies and identifying opportunities to improve services and outcomes.

  • Proven experience leading ICT teams and delivering complex technology environments.
  • Strong experience across applications, integration platforms, business intelligence and/or GIS technologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship management skills.
  • Strong programme, project and financial management capability.
  • A passion for innovation, continuous improvement and customer service excellence.
  • The ability to lead through change and empower teams to succeed.
  • A commitment to learning, cultural awareness, and supporting Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice.
Why join our team?

We're progressing through a significant organisational transformation that is creating new opportunities, strengthening capability, and helping us better serve our communities. You'll have the opportunity to influence the future direction of our digital environment while working alongside passionate people who genuinely care about making a difference.

  • Meaningful work that directly benefits our communities.
  • The opportunity to shape Council's digital future.
