Job summary

HEB Construction, a dynamic leader in New Zealand infrastructure, seeks a Solutions & Domain Lead to govern data, solution, AI and integration architectures across the organisation. You will shape roadmaps, frameworks and governance, while collaborating with business teams and vendors to deliver scalable, secure technology solutions.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
• 5+ years in technology, architecture, digital transformation, data or enterprise systems roles.
• Experience developing solution, data and integration architectures.
• Strong knowledge of roadmaps, governance practices and delivery standards.
• Practical experience supporting or troubleshooting digital platforms.
• Understanding of AI governance and security controls.

• Provide hands-on technical support, configuration, troubleshooting and issue resolution across supported platforms when required.

• Identify opportunities to improve business performance through automation, analytics, integration and emerging technologies.
• Partner with business stakeholders, project teams and vendors to translate requirements into sustainable technology solutions.

HEB Construction is a dynamic and innovative leader in the construction of New Zealand's Infrastructure. We are involved with a variety of projects from road construction and maintenance through to earthworks, drainage, marine works, and major projects of national significance.

We're looking for an experienced Solutions & Domain Lead to play a key role in shaping and governing our data, solution, integration, AI and technology architecture across the organisation.

This is a broad and influential role that combines strategic architecture leadership with hands-on technical capability. You will help define the frameworks, standards, governance practices and technology roadmaps that guide our digital portfolio, while also working closely with business teams, vendors and technical specialists to ensure solutions are practical, secure, scalable and aligned to business priorities.

About the role

In this role, you will:

About You

You’ll bring:

• A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field
• 5+ years' experience in technology, architecture, digital transformation, data, or enterprise systems roles.
• Experience developing solution, data and integration architectures
• Strong knowledge of technology roadmaps, architecture frameworks, governance practices and delivery standards.
• Practical experience supporting, configuring or troubleshooting business-critical digital platforms.
• An understanding of AI governance, responsible AI principles, security requirements and technology controls.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data governance, CDMP, Boomi, business analysis, process mapping or integration platform administration would be advantageous.
