Job summary

Beyond Recruitment is seeking experienced Solution Architects to join a national transformation programme in Wellington, NZ. Roles are offered at Senior and Lead levels with a salary band of $168,000 to $200,000 per annum, appointment based on experience and leadership capabilities.

Design end-to-end architectures across business apps, data platforms and cloud environments, while guiding API patterns, security, data governance and interoperability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Solution Architecture for complex enterprise solutions.
• Experience designing secure, scalable Azure cloud-native solutions (SaaS/PaaS).
• Experience building enterprise integrations via APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, microservices and modern app architectures.
• Experience with data platforms, analytics, data governance.
• Strong security architecture principles including authentication, authorisation, identity management, privacy and risk management.
• Ability to translate business needs into pragmatic technical solutions.
• Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups and vendors.
• Experience presenting architecture options, risks and recommendations to governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Produce architecture artefacts including solution designs, architecture decision records, interface specifications and roadmaps.
• Support architecture governance, assurance and investment decision-making.
• Ensure solutions are designed with security, privacy, resilience, availability and operational supportability in mind.
• Work closely with delivery teams to ensure architecture intent is realised through implementation.

We are seeking multiple experienced Solution Architects to join a nationally significant transformation programme delivering modern digital capabilities across a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. This is an opportunity to influence the design of future-ready solutions that support better information sharing, improved services, digital innovation, and more effective decision making across government and local government.

Opportunities exist at both Senior and Lead Solution Architect levels,with a salary band of $168,000 to $200,000per annum, and appointment based on experience, capability and demonstrated leadership.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, microservices and modern application architectures
• Experience working with data platforms, analytics, information management and data governance
• Strong understanding of security architecture principles including authentication, authorisation, identity management, privacy and risk management
• Experience balancing functional and non-functional requirements across complex enterprise solutions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into pragmatic technical solutions
• Experience working across multiple stakeholder groups, vendors and delivery teams
• Experience presenting architecture options, risks and recommendations to governance forums and senior stakeholders
