Aotea Group is seeking a dedicated electrician for a full-time, permanent solar installation role in New Zealand. The position offers a 40-hour week, a 7:30am start, and a competitive hourly rate of NZD 40–44 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• EWRB registered electrician with a current practising licence.
• At least 2 years' solar installation experience.
• NZ work rights and a full NZ driver licence.

Responsibilities

• Quote, design and order gear for solar jobs.
• Install panels, racking, inverters and gear on roofs and ground mounts for rural, commercial, and residential.
• Coordinate the solar technician and ensure faults are sorted quickly.
• Keep the work tidy, safe and compliant to AS/NZS standards.
• Look after customers on site and build good relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Keep tools, gear and the vehicle in good nick.
