Job summary

Christchurch Electrical Solar is expanding its specialist solar team in Canterbury and is seeking a motivated electrician to join and grow within a fast‑growing renewable energy sector.

You will work across residential and commercial projects, undertaking solar servicing, maintenance, installations and fault finding, with ongoing training to develop your skills and a clear pathway for career progression within our established Canterbury business.

Qualifications

• Current NZ Electrical Registration and Practising Licence.
• Full New Zealand driver's licence.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to health and safety.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform solar servicing, maintenance, and fault finding on residential and commercial systems.
• Install solar energy systems across Canterbury.
• Assist with design/configuration from consultation through to installation and ongoing maintenance.

Christchurch Electrical Solar is expanding, and we're looking for an enthusiastic, motivated electrician to join our specialist solar team.

This is an exciting opportunity to build your career in renewable energy while working across a diverse range of residential and commercial projects throughout Canterbury. You'll be involved in solar servicing, maintenance, installations and fault finding, while receiving ongoing support and training to further develop your skills. Christchurch Electrical Solar provides a complete solar service from consultation and design through to installation and maintenance for residential and commercial clients across Canterbury.
