Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Software Development Project Manager to guide product development teams in delivering high-quality software from their base in Queenstown. The role focuses on managing the entire software development lifecycle and fostering collaboration among development, QA, and product teams to ensure timely, within-scope, high-quality delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software project management experience, strong Agile practice knowledge, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in software development.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage software development projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

About the Role

This role involves managing the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation and planning through to deployment and maintenance. You will foster collaboration between development, QA, and product teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This is a key position for driving innovation and efficiency in software delivery for the organization in Queenstown .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage software development projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
