Job summary

Green by Nature AU is seeking a Mower Operator to join our Auckland Toru team. You will be responsible for mowing, weed eating, and basic maintenance of plant equipment while keeping grounds well presented.

The role requires a Class 2 licence and a positive, hardworking attitude. You’ll work as part of a team outdoors in Waitakere, with full PPE provided and a culture focused on safety and community spaces.

Qualifications

• Experience outdoors and a strong work ethic.
• Clean, current Class 2 driver’s licence.
• Be a team player with a positive attitude and safety mindset.
• Physically fit and able to work in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Mow and maintain parks and grounds across Waitakere area.
• Assist in weed eating and basic maintenance of plant equipment.
• Support overall grounds upkeep and presentation.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

If you enjoy working outdoors, possess an awesome work ethic and have a class 2 drivers' licence, then this role would suit you! We currently havea vacancy for a Mower Operator to join our high-performingAuckland Toru team.

What does a Mower Operator do you ask?

You will be responsible for general parks and grounds maintenance with activities in theWaitakerearea including (and we will train you if you're not an expert), mowing, weed eating, basic mechanical maintenance of plant and ensuring that the grounds always look well presented. This is a varied, physical role upkeeping our local community, where you will be a highly valued member of the team!

Who we are looking for

Ideally we would love someone who has experience operating motorised ride-on mowing equipment and other small plant equipment, however, this is not a must. As long as you are a hard-worker, with a passion for working outdoors and getting stuck in then you would be a perfect candidate. Other success factors include:

• A clean and current class 2 driver's licence
• Be a team player with a positive attitude - helping out your team mates needs to be second nature
• A desire to adhere to the company's health and safety procedures
• Tones of motivation with a strong desire to get this job done
• Physically fit - the role doesn't just involve sitting on a mower
