Job summary

Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora Waitematā invites a Sleep Physiologist to join the Respiratory Physiology Department on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work across North Shore and Waitākere Hospitals, performing diagnostic sleep testing and educating patients on equipment use.

The role requires registration with the NZ Clinical Physiologists Registration Board and proven sleep physiology experience, contributing to patient care and follow-up treatment as needed.

Qualifications

• Registration with the NZ Clinical Physiologists Registration Board is required.
• Proven experience in Sleep Physiology.
• Experience educating patients on equipment use and results.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic sleep testing and analysis of results.
• Educate patients on equipment use and follow-up care.
• Interpret data and collaborate with clinicians for treatment planning.
• Ensure appropriate follow-up and additional treatment where required.
