Job summary

Happy Brush Painting Limited in Otago is seeking painters to join our boutique team. The role involves preparing surfaces by removing old paint and fixing woodwork, then applying paints, varnishes and stains with brushes, rollers or sprays.

You will mix colours by combining pigment, oil, thinning and drying additives to achieve required shades. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant work experience or a Level 5 or higher qualification.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience or a Level 5 or higher qualification.
• Experience in preparing surfaces, mixing paints and applying coatings.
• New Zealand citizenship or resident visa required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing surfaces by removing old paint, fixing woodwork and filling holes.
• Applying paints, varnishes and stains using brushes, rollers and sprays.
• Selecting and preparing paints by mixing pigment, oil, thinning and drying additives.
