Job summary

Trade Assist is seeking reliable construction workers for projects across Christchurch. Roles include Labourer, Hammer Hand, and Carpenter with opportunities to grow your career. Immediate start, ongoing work for dependable team members.

You will work on diverse site tasks, wear PPE provided, and benefit from potential long-term opportunities with reputable local companies. A clean drug test may be required prior to starting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the construction industry.
• Experience as a Hammer Hand or Carpenter would be advantageous.
• Your own reliable transport.
• Your own basic toolbelt.
• Site Safe is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• General site labouring and manual handling.
• Installation of cladding and fixtures.
• Performing carpentry tasks including framing, foundations, and installation of windows and doors.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to ensure work is completed to specification.
