Job summary

Citycare Water in Timaru is seeking a Site Traffic Management Supervisor to lead on-site traffic management, ensure safety and compliance, and manage a small crew. You will coordinate TMPs, communicate with residents and businesses, and drive continuous improvements in site safety and efficiency.

You will bring an STMS qualification, 6+ months’ experience, a clean full NZ licence (Class 1/2), and solid knowledge of Traffic Management Plans.

Qualifications

• A current STMS qualification.
• At least 6 months’ experience as an STMS or in a similar role.
• A full class 1 and 2 licence, with the ability to drive a manual.
• Solid understanding of Traffic Management Plans.
• Good physical fitness and health & safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and maintaining traffic management sites in line with COPTTM and Generic TMP standards and safety procedures.
• Keeping nearby residents and businesses informed and minimize disruption.
• Directing and supporting team members to ensure work is delivered on time and to specification.
• Operating and maintaining vehicles, plant, and equipment to the highest standard.
