Job summary

Jora New Zealand currently has ongoing labourer roles in the Christchurch area. These are full-time, day shifts with weekly pay and a variety of tasks from general labour to concrete finishing and civil works.

Pay rates start at $25.00 per hour and go to $32.00 per hour depending on the role and experience. PPE is provided and there are permanent opportunities for reliable workers.

Qualifications

• Available for ongoing work.
• Physically fit due to the nature of the work.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Good health & safety awareness.
• Site Safe required for some jobs.
• Class 1 Licence and car to get to work.
• WTR needed for some civil roles.
• Two contactable work-related references.

Responsibilities

• General labouring across Christchurch sites (Site Safe required on most sites).
• Hammer hand work on residential and commercial projects.
• Concrete workers with finishing skills for various pours.
• Civil construction roles including asphalting and hard labour.
• Warehouse roles with basic safety requirements.

We have short term and long-term jobs available now throughout the Christchurch area. All of these positions have potential to become permanent positions for reliable workers.

These jobs are paid weekly, full time hours, Monday to Friday.

Pay rates starting from $25.00 per hour to $32.00 per hour depending on the job and your experience.

Currently we have ongoing work in the following areas:

• General labouring, Site Safe will be required on most sites.
• Hammer hand work, residential and commercial building projects.
• Experienced concrete workers, with concrete finishing skills.
• Civil Construction workers, asphalting, hard labour, machinery.
• Warehouse workers, F & OSH required for some roles.

What we need from you:
