Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking an experienced Site Manager to deliver commercial kitchen and shopfitting projects on time, on budget and to a high standard. You will work directly with the Projects Manager and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, installers, the factory and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery and strong commercial outcomes.

The role requires 5+ years’ experience in commercial kitchens, shopfitting or joinery, and you will be highly organised with excellent communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in commercial kitchens, shopfitting or joinery.
• Highly organised with excellent communication skills to achieve deadlines, adapt outcomes positively.
• Confident working with builders, architects, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Solutions-focused and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day site coordination and logistics
• Quality control and inspections on site
• Subcontractor and trades coordination on site
• Receiving and checking deliveries on site
• Conduct site measures
• Site safety and housekeeping
• Reporting site progress to the Projects Manager
• Occasional installation of cabinetry/joinery (if required)
• Snagging, defects identification and rectification
