Placements24 is seeking a proactive Site Engineer to manage on-site construction activities in Queenstown. You will supervise crew performance, ensure quality and safety, and coordinate trades to meet project plans and timelines.

The role requires 4+ years in site supervision, a civil engineering or construction management degree, and a solid understanding of construction methods and safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required.
• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 4+ years of experience as Site Engineer or similar construction supervision role.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site, ensuring work progresses as per schedule.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure construction meets required standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications, guiding construction crews.
• Manage site logistics, including material procurement, equipment deployment, and waste management.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations on the Queenstown site.
