Job summary

Blokhaus Recruitment in Southland is seeking an experienced Shower Installer to fit acrylic and frameless showers, manage QA, and resolve warranty issues. You will work with our team and contractors to ensure timely, high-quality project completions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (qualification preferred but not compulsory).
• Strong technical knowledge of shower installations, construction processes, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership, contractor management, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with construction management software and digital tools.
• Health & Safety certification or relevant site safety training.
• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License and willingness to travel preferred but not compulsory.

Responsibilities

• Installing acrylic and frameless showers to high standards alongside contractors
• Attending warranty jobs to provide technical guidance and perform remedial work as required
• Conducting regular Quality Assurance inspections to ensure all installations meet company standards
• Overseeing site safety and ensuring all contractor activities comply with H&S regulations
• Reporting daily site operations, progress, and potential delays promptly to Project Managers
• Communicating effectively with clients to address questions and manage site queries
• Maintaining accurate site documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports
• Installs shower screens and prefabricated windows and doors

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Shower Installer to join our team in Southland. In this role, you will be installing acrylic and frameless showers alongside our team and contractors to ensure timely, top-quality project completions.

• Installing acrylic and frameless showers to high standards alongside contractors
• Attending warranty jobs to provide technical guidance and perform remedial work as required
