Job summary

Endura Mining in Greymouth is seeking an experienced Shotcrete Sprayer to support underground development and rehabilitation. This permanent, full-time role operates on a 7 days on / 7 days off roster, with some flexibility to support work-life balance and site operations on the West Coast.

You will apply shotcrete, maintain QA/QC standards, operate safety equipment, and participate in pre-starts and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years' underground mining or tunnelling experience.
• Experience with shotcrete equipment, batch plant or agi operations.
• Exposure to mobile heavy equipment operations.
• Full Driver's Licence and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Apply shotcrete in development and rehabilitation activities.
• Ensure correct thickness, profile and QA/QC standards.
• Operate shotcrete equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain equipment and perform end-of-shift cleanup.
• Monitor shotcrete feed and accelerator usage per site standards.
• Complete pre-starts, documentation and reporting.
• Communicate effectively with radio and crew.

The Role

We're seeking an experienced Shotcrete Sprayer to support safe and efficient underground development and rehabilitation activities.

Key Responsibilities

Shotcrete Operations

• Apply shotcrete in development and rehabilitation activities in line with geotechnical guidance
• Ensure correct thickness, profile and QA/QC standards are achieved
• Operate shotcrete equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain equipment, including end-of-shift cleaning and care
• Monitor shotcrete feed and use accelerators in line with site standards
• Complete pre-starts, documentation and reporting
• Communicate effectively via radio and with the wider crew

Safety and Compliance

• Promote a strong safety and "one team" culture
• Identify and report hazards and incidents promptly
• Comply with all health, safety and environmental procedures
• Participate in inspections and safety verification activities
• Maintain fitness for work, including strict drug and alcohol compliance

About You

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years' underground mining or tunnelling experience
• Experience with shotcrete equipment, batch plant or agi operations
• Exposure to mobile heavy equipment operations
• Full Driver's Licence
• First Aid Certificate
• Class 2/4 and WTR licences (desirable)
