Job summary

RobLawMax Recruitment is seeking an experienced Shotcrete Sprayer to join an expanding underground mining operation in Otago, New Zealand. You will support ground development and rehabilitation, applying shotcrete safely and to QA/QC standards, contributing to a productive, safety-first team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years underground mining experience.
• Experience operating shotcrete equipment or related underground machinery.
• Experience in tunnelling, hard rock mining or production environments.
• Current Driver Licence.
• First Aid Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Applying shotcrete to required QA/QC standards
• Maintaining shotcrete equipment and completing end-of-shift cleaning
• Monitoring accelerator and shotcrete feed systems
• Completing inspections and operational documentation
• Working closely with Supervisors and Technical Services teams
• Maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards

The Role

Were seeking an experienced Shotcrete Sprayer to become part of a growing underground operation where safety, quality and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.

Youll play an important role in underground ground support through the safe and efficient application of shotcrete across development and rehabilitation activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Applying shotcrete to required QA/QC standards
• Maintaining shotcrete equipment and completing end-of-shift cleaning
• Monitoring accelerator and shotcrete feed systems
• Completing inspections and operational documentation
• Working closely with Supervisors and Technical Services teams
• Maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards

About You

• You will ideally have:
• 2+ years underground mining experience
• Experience operating shotcrete equipment or related underground machinery
• Experience in tunnelling, hard rock mining or production environments
• First Aid Certificate
• Current Driver Licence
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
• Ability to work effectively within a close-knit underground team
