Job summary

All Recruits is seeking a Shift Electrician to join our engineering team in a role focused on keeping production equipment up and running. You will perform fault finding, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting to maximise uptime and safety.

With a minimum of 2 years’ industrial electrical experience and an EWRB practising licence, you’ll contribute to continuous improvement, document maintenance actions, and work closely with production and engineering colleagues on a 6am–6pm, 4 on/4 off

Qualifications

• Hold EWRB practising licence with current registration.
• Minimum 2 years’ industrial electrical experience.
• CMMS experience is advantageous.
• Strong safety awareness and documentation skills.

What you'll be doing

• Electrical fault finding and breakdown response.
• Preventative and scheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshooting production and plant equipment.
• Supporting plant reliability and reducing downtime.
• Root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
• Working closely with production and engineering teams.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• The shifts are 6am-6pm 4 days on and 4 days off

Skills & Experience

• EWRB registered with a current practising licence.
• Minimum 2 years’ industrial experience.
• Strong knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures and maintenance practices.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
• CMMS experience is highly advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Computer literate, including email, MS Office, MS Teams and similar systems.
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work effectively.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Professional and reliable approach to work.
• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use initiative and make sound decisions when required.
