Tony’s Tyres in Paraparaumu is seeking a reliable Part-Time Service Technician to perform tyre fitting, balancing and repairs with a strong emphasis on safety.

You’ll diagnose tyre wear, assist customers on products and features, and work 20 hours weekly (including a 5-hour Saturday shift) with remaining hours scheduled on Mon/Tue or Thu/Fri. Full uniform and on-the-job training provided, including NZQA certifications and staff discounts.

Qualificações

• A full, clean Driver's License is required.
• Excellent work ethic and strong customer service skills.
• Good mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn.
• Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised.

The Role

This is an essential role within our Paraparaumu store that will see you providing a range of tyre services, including fitting, balancing and repairs to our customers within the region. You will need to be able to diagnose tyre wear as well as provide excellent service to customers on products, features and benefits, whilst keeping safety as a number one priority.
This position is 20 hours per week, including a compulsory 5-hour shift on Saturday. The remaining 15 hours will be scheduled across either Monday and Tuesday, or Thursday and Friday.

To be successful you will need:

• A full, clean Driver's License
• An excellent work ethic and strong customer service skills
• Good mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised
