Fire Security Services (FSS) is hiring a Sprinkler Technician to cover the greater Wellington region, performing service and installation work on fire sprinkler systems. The role offers full-time hours (40 per week) with 24/7 callout support and opportunities to work across commercial, healthcare, government and industrial sites.
You will bring at least 5 years' hands-on experience, a full NZ driver license and a solid knowledge of NZ Sprinkler Standards.

The nature of the work involves keeping cool under pressure and thinking on your feet to problem solve. Your positive attitude, effective communication skills and sense of humour will help you to get along with customers and the team.
The role involves servicing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems. You will bring fault finding skills to the role. From time to time, you may be requested to assist our other branches in the Lower North Island.
To hit the ground running, you will need to bring at least 5 years’ experience “on the tools” as a sprinkler technician and ideally you will hold NZQA Fixed Fire Systems L4.
You will hold a full, valid NZ Driver License and have a good knowledge of NZ Sprinkler Standards.
You will be required to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
