Job summary

NZ Post in Blenheim is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to lead front-line teams across mail delivery, processing and administration. You will focus on meeting service standards, building strong customer relationships and driving a high-performing culture.

Ideal candidates have hands-on leadership experience, strong budgeting and reporting skills, and comfort with MS Office and Excel. This is a Monday–Friday role with flexibility for extended hours and occasional Saturday duty.

**Service Delivery Manager – Blenheim****Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join our team based in Blenheim.In this role your focus will be on ensuring our mail products and services “first and last mile” are delivered and picked up in a manner that meets our service standards and our customers' expectations.You'll be responsible for leading and managing a diverse team of front-line service delivery staff including the afternoon Processing shift, Couriers and Rural Delivery Contractors and our administration team.This is a challenging and exciting role, no two days are ever the same, and you'll be involved in any or all these things, from* Regular check-ins with your team* Managing performance, site safety and wellbeing - with a passion* Fostering a positive internal culture and further developing relationships* Using your super IT and Excel skills to provide reporting / analysis* Managing rosters, budgets and workforce planning* Recruiting and onboarding* Being a key point of contact for our customers and dealing with any escalations - the variety is huge!* Leading change processes through vision, communication and collaborationReporting to our Senior Area Service Delivery Manager, this role operates Monday to Friday ideally from 9am to 5.30 pm, however this role needs someone who is flexible to work a combination of hours including early mornings or late afternoons and an occasional Saturday to ensure visibility across your teams and their shifts.This is an opportunity for a dynamic, commercially savvy and people focused team leader to really make their mark.**Mōu - About you**You'll be an experienced, hands-on people leader and change manager, with proven experience in developing positive teams, along with the ability to multitask and keep many balls in the air all at once.You'll combine this with* Leadership style that drives a high performing, customer-centric and thriving team culture* Customer service and relationship management skills* Strong commercial acumen, including budgets, financials and analytical skills* The ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation, including presenting to groups* Being tech savvy - you'll be comfortable using MS Office including Outlook, Teams and Excel in particularExperience of managing relationships within a unionised environment will stand you in good stead.**Mō te Tukurau Aotearoa - About NZ Post**NZ Post is an iconic organisation with a rich history and bright future.
