New Zealand Post is seeking a Mail Strategic Planning Lead, Auckland based, to shape the future of our Mail business amid a major transformation. You’ll work with senior leaders to translate strategic direction into clear roadmaps and executive narratives that inform decision‑making at Board level.

Responsibilities

• Develop executive-quality presentations, Board papers, discussion documents and briefing materials that support strategic decision-making.
• Translate strategic direction into clear roadmaps, milestones, dependencies and priorities.
• Support the evaluation of strategic options, opportunities, risks and trade-offs.
• Monitor customer, market, industry and regulatory trends to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
• Synthesize complex information from multiple stakeholders into clear recommendations and insights.
• Coordinate inputs across Commercial, Finance, Enterprise Strategy, Network, Regulatory and Technology teams to build an aligned enterprise view.
• Support governance forums and maintain visibility of key decisions, dependencies, risks and actions.
• Track progress against strategic priorities and help maintain focus on agreed outcomes and benefits.
