Job summary

Ballance Agri-Nutrients – Hastings, North Island, seeks a Service Centre Operator to handle loading/unloading, process fertiliser orders, and manage stock while maintaining a safe, efficient site. Based in Hastings, there may be occasional moves to other Ballance sites for coverage.

You will contribute to top-quality customer service with active involvement in safety and environmental practices. Full on-site training is provided; a full class 1 license is required, with forklift/loader training

Qualifications

• Good communication skills enabling clear customer interactions.
• Some computer skills are required with training provided for in-house systems.
• A valid full class 1 license; forklift and loader training can be provided.
• Proactive attitude to health, safety and environmental management.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload spreader and bulk trucks; processing fertiliser orders.
• Operate loader and forklift; perform maintenance as needed.
• Run fixed plant operations; participate in safety checks.
• Interact with customers and colleagues; maintain a positive, service-focused approach.
• Support environmental, health and safety practices on site.
