PwC Auckland is seeking a Senior Workforce Solutions Advisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract to unlock resourcing support for the Advisory practice. You will deploy local talent and leverage offshore/contract resources, ensuring engagements are resourced effectively.

Join PwC as a Senior Resourcing Advisor - 12-month Fixed term contract in TāmakiMakaurau / Auckland, where you will play a pivotal role in unlocking resourcing support for the Advisory practice. Reporting into the National Workforce Solutions Manager, you will ensure current and future engagements are appropriately resourced by deploying local talent and leveraging broader workforce solutions (such as offshore, contractors or secondments).
Your key responsibilitiesinclude working closely with the Workforce Solutions team, Advisory Partners, Engagement Managers, and Resourcing Champions to provide solutions to resource requests andoptimizeutilisation across the Advisory practice by providing insights into areas of capacity,constraintsand demand trends.
The position will require daily interaction with senior PwC stakeholders to gain visibility of upcomingengagements,identifyrequiredcapabilitiesand strategicallyallocateand re-allocate resources to meet evolving business needs.This position deals with confidential information on a regular basis.
You will also support the design and implementation of a contingent workforce deployment process that enables efficient and streamlined management of contractors and offshore resources.
Work with Engagement managersand Partnersto gather information to understand client engagement resourcing requirements.
Champion the use of existing resourcing systems while playing a key role in training Advisory staff on the upcoming skills-based resourcing system, as well as producing reports for leadership that highlight resourcing metrics, key trends, and opportunitiesto uplift operational excellence
Support the design and implementation of a contingent workforce deployment process that enables efficient and streamlined management of contractors and offshore resources
Coordinate and plan the allocation of resources for current and future engagements in Consulting and respond to requests from Engagement Managers andthe wider business.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the Advisory practice, our clients, our capabilities, service offerings, prioritysectorsand our people.
Champion the use and accuracy of skills data toensure the best people areallocatedto the right engagements.
2-4years' experienceworking in a detail-drivenresourcing or talent acquisitionrole, preferably in a large organisation, ideally in professional services or human resources
Experience producing high quality reports and working with complex systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills –both written and verbal,approachable and able to build rapport with the wider team and business.
Proficiencyworking with Microsoft suites.
A strong understanding ofAI applications and the ability toleverageautomation tools to enhance productivity and streamline resourcing processes.
