Job summary

Worley is delivering major water infrastructure in New Zealand. The Wellington team focuses on wastewater treatment design, planning and optimisation, with multidisciplinary collaboration across engineering disciplines.

You will lead process design, modelling and documentation, mentoring junior engineers and supporting tender submissions. NZ working rights are required, with flexible, collaborative work arrangements and a path toward technical leadership.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering wastewater treatment planning and design projects.
  • Strong understanding of biological treatment, hydraulics and design principles.
  • Ability to develop PFDs and P&IDs and technical design documentation.
  • Experience using process modelling software for evaluation and optimization.
  • NZ working rights and ability to collaborate on multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop process designs for municipal and industrial wastewater facilities.
  • Conduct planning, feasibility and option evaluations for treatment plants.
  • Prepare PFDs, P&IDs and plant layouts; perform hydraulic modelling.
  • Model biological and process performance to support design.
  • Lead proposals, reports, and client presentations; mentor juniors.
  • Support business development and tender submissions.
