Job summary

Grant Thornton New Zealand is seeking a valuations-focused analyst to support a variety of engagements across different industries from the Auckland CBD office. You’ll work with a collaborative team, delivering valuation assignments, performing financial analysis and modelling, and preparing reports for senior team review.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a CA firm or similar environment with valuations exposure, strong numerical skills and a commerce degree, plus progress towards

Qualifications

Experience in valuations environments or CA firm exposure desirable.
Strong financial modelling and data analysis capability.
Clear, confident written and verbal communication required.

Responsibilities

Assist day-to-day delivery of valuation assignments largely independently.
Conduct financial analysis and spreadsheet support for valuations.
Research industry trends to inform assignments and prepare reports for review.
Prepare high-quality engagement documents and data books for senior review.
