Grant Thornton New Zealand's Financial Advisory Services in Auckland is seeking a capable Analyst/Senior/Assistant Manager to join the Transaction Advisory team. You will deliver across engagements, progress client relationships, and develop your personal brand in a collaborative office environment.

You will analyse financial information, build models, and prepare high quality reports while adhering to risk and quality standards. Hybrid/digital working options available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a CA or similar environment; bonus if Transaction Advisory engagements
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to think critically and solve problems from commercial and legal perspectives
• Very good written and oral communication skills
• Strong financial modelling and data room preparation
• A commerce degree and working towards CA, CPA or CFA qualifications
• Exposure to a variety of organisations and industries
• Client-focused and able to work as part of a team and autonomously

Responsabilités

• Support day-to-day delivery of transaction advisory assignments, largely independently on standard tasks
• Analyse accounts and financial information to identify issues and areas for investigation
• Conduct financial modelling, spreadsheet analysis and industry research for client assignments
• Prepare high-quality reports and engagement correspondence for senior review
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to gather information and manage queries
• Deliver work within deadlines and quality standards, escalating risks as needed
• Apply firm risk management policies and checking procedures
• Identify opportunities to improve team processes and raise business opportunities with seniors
