Grant Thornton New Zealand in Auckland is seeking a problem-solving analyst/senior/assistant manager to join our Financial Advisory Services team. You will contribute to transaction advisory assignments across New Zealand, delivering quality work in a collaborative environment.

You will analyse financial information, build models, prepare reports, liaise with clients, and help meet deadlines while adhering to risk and compliance procedures.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years’ experience in a CA or similar environment.
• Experience with Transaction Advisory engagements preferred.
• Strong financial modelling and data book preparation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Commerce degree and working towards CA, CPA or CFA.

Aufgaben

• Assist day-to-day delivery of transaction advisory assignments.
• Analyse accounts and financial information to identify issues.
• Undertake financial modelling and industry research to support client work.
• Prepare high-quality reports and engagement correspondence.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to gather information.
• Deliver work within deadlines and standards; escalate risks.
• Apply firm's risk management policies and checking procedures.
• Identify process improvements and new business opportunities.
