Grant Thornton New Zealand Ltd is seeking a Manager to bring insight, experience and professional intuition to help clients navigate complex issues and implement meaningful solutions. You’ll own your work, contribute to strategic thinking and shape client relationships.

Beyond compliance, you’ll lead projects, grow your own client portfolio, and support your team through coaching and development. You’ll work in a collaborative, down-to-earth culture that values balance and wellbeing.

Qualifikationen

• 4–5 years' CA experience with strong technical capability.
• Clear, confident communicator who can bring clarity to complex information.
• Commercially minded with the ability to think beyond the numbers.
• Skilled at building rapport with a wide range of clients.
• Proven leadership experience with a collaborative, supportive style.
• Strong at managing your own workflow and overseeing junior team members.
• Experience with accounting technology solutions is an advantage.
• Experience leading and managing people with coaching focus.

• Building and nurturing long-term client relationships
• Supporting and driving project work that goes beyond compliance including cashflow, forecasting and commercial solutions
• Delivering insightful monthly management reporting
• Providing system and process support to help clients improve the way they work
• Leading the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
• Offering leadership, coaching, and guidance to team members
