Job summary

Navico Group in Auckland, New Zealand, is seeking a senior Test Engineering leader to coordinate complex engineering projects and supervise the Test Engineering team. The role requires 10+ years in test engineering, RF/microwave knowledge, LabVIEW/TestStand proficiency, and strong cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of Test Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electronic device assembly processes.
• Knowledge of RF/microwave signals and radar applications.
• Advanced proficiency in LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Project management experience with cross‑functional teams.
• Proficient in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain procedures for test equipment; design fixtures and production test equipment.
• Lead process improvements and evaluate new testing technologies.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering on hardware/software development and NPIs.
• Monitor test equipment on the production floor and troubleshoot issues using 8D/PDCA/Six Sigma/5 Whys.
• Lead and develop engineers and technicians; drive cost‑reduction and yield improvements.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards; maintain QMS compliance.
