Job summary

Beyond Recruitment in Auckland, North Island is seeking an experienced Network Test Engineer to join a high-performing team on a 6-month contract. You will design and execute end-to-end testing across telecom network applications, APIs and integrated systems.

You will develop and maintain Playwright-based automation frameworks to improve test coverage, reduce manual testing and enable faster delivery. The role requires strong telecom domain expertise, 4G/5G knowledge, MBT techniques and

Qualifications

5 years of experience in Telecom Testing.
Hands-on Playwright test automation experience.
Experience across 4G/5G networks, OSS/BSS and IMS.
MBT (Model-Based Testing) techniques knowledge.

Responsibilities

Design and execute end-to-end test scenarios for telecom networks, APIs and integrated systems.
Perform testing across 4G/5G networks, OSS/BSS and IMS environments.
Develop and maintain Playwright-based automation frameworks for UI, API and end-to-end testing.
Improve automated test coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
Apply MBT techniques to support effective test design and coverage.
Analyse and troubleshoot issues across complex telecom systems and network integrations.
Work closely with development, engineering and business teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
