Job summary

Sunstone Talent in Christchurch, New Zealand, is seeking a Contract Automation Test Engineer to help improve quality on a global SaaS product. You will write test scripts using TypeScript with Playwright and Jest, and contribute to a modern cloud-based software stack.

The role is 15–20 hours per week on a 3-month contract, with Christchurch-based candidates preferred. Right to work in NZ and MOJ check clearance are required at start.

Qualifications

• Experience in automated testing for SaaS products with TS-based frameworks.
• Proficient in Playwright or similar testing tools.
• Knowledge of Jest for test execution and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Automate tests for a modern SaaS cloud-based suite.
• Develop and maintain TypeScript-based test scripts using Playwright/Jest.
• Collaborate with the team to improve software quality.
