Job summary

Qualifications

Senior Technical Business Analyst | Technology & Integration Projects

Looking for your next BA opportunity somewhere a little different?

We are partnering with an established organisation in Queenstown looking for an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to support a varied portfolio of technology and business change.

The initial focus will be on integration projects, working across business teams, technology specialists and third-party providers. Longer term, the role will broaden into wider technology, process improvement and business change initiatives.

The Role

You’ll be the link between business and technology, understanding business problems, gathering requirements and helping delivery teams turn them into practical solutions.

You’ll need to be comfortable discussing integrations, APIs, interfaces and data flows, but this isn't a developer or engineering role. We're looking for a strong Business Analyst first, with enough technical understanding to ask the right questions and work confidently with technical teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

• Ideally 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, Senior BA or Technical BA.
• Strong requirements, process analysis and stakeholder management capability.
• Experience working on integration, application or technology change projects.
• Good understanding of APIs, interfaces, system interactions and data flows.
• Strong workshop facilitation and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile, iterative and/or hybrid environments.
• Exposure to data mapping, databases or SQL would be advantageous.
• A recognised BA qualification such as IIBA or CBAP, or an equivalent professional certification.
