Job summary

New Zealand Government Joba is seeking a highly organised procurement professional to manage vendor governance and contract administration across Digital IT, Finance and Procurement.

You will own operational relationships, administer POs and invoicing, maintain contract records and provide financial insights to optimise technology investments. Strong stakeholder management and ServiceNow experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years' experience in operational vendor governance or procurement.
• Experience managing purchase orders, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to build trusted relationships across business and vendor environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
• Experience using ServiceNow or other enterprise systems to manage vendor, contract, or service-related activities.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and continuous improvement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational vendor governance, contract administration and governance.
• Administer purchase orders, invoicing, receipting, accruals and vendor payments.
• Establish and maintain contract records, vendor documentation, entitlements and usage information.
• Collaborate across Technology, Finance, Procurement and external vendors to maximise value.
• Provide insights through analytics and reporting to support decision-making and planning.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities and financial controls.
