BTW Company is seeking a senior surveying leader to drive complex field and office projects in New Zealand. You will mentor junior staff, manage client relations, and ensure high data accuracy using GNSS, UAVs, robotics, and 3D laser scanners with AutoCAD and LINZ.

This role blends technical excellence with safety, compliance, and client-focused delivery to achieve project goals and environmental and infrastructure outcomes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Surveying (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of professional surveying experience, including field and office work.
• 2+ years UAV flying experience post-qualification.
• CAA Part 101 certification required; Part 102 preferred.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.

Responsabilités

• Lead and deliver complex projects, overseeing planning, client liaison, and resource allocation.
• Apply advanced technical expertise and support team development.
• Conduct field surveys using GNSS, UAVs, robotics, and 3D laser scanners.
• Ensure data integrity and produce outputs using AutoCAD, 12D, and LINZ systems.
• Maintain safety standards and compliance with BTW HSE policies.
