Job summary

NZ HVAC Supplies Ltd. is seeking a Supply and Distribution Manager to oversee purchasing, inventory, warehousing and distribution across New Zealand.

You will ensure efficient sourcing, storage and delivery while meeting customer requirements and quality standards. The role requires 2–3 years in supervision/management, a tertiary business qualification, and strong procurement, inventory and logistics expertise.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in a supervisor or manager role.
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Management or any.
• Knowledge of procurement, inventory and logistics management.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing, storage and distribution plans and procedures.
• Maintain optimal stock levels to support production and customer demand while minimising costs.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve quality, price and delivery objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels and oversee warehouse operations to ensure accurate stock control.
• Track the movement of materials and finished HVAC products using inventory systems.
• Coordinate transportation and distribution activities throughout New Zealand.
• Liaise with sales, production, suppliers and customers regarding supply and delivery requirements.
• Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance and costs.
• Supervise warehouse and logistics staff and monitor performance.
• Promote health and safety, quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyse sales forecasts and historical usage trends to support procurement and planning.
• Identify and implement supply chain improvements to reduce costs.
