Job summary

The Department of Internal Affairs is seeking a Principal Advisor to join the Branch Performance team in Wellington. You will provide strategic advice, contribute to governance, and work with senior leaders to shape major programmes of work.

You will influence at senior levels, lead priority projects, and support development of the Identity Services Improvement Roadmap, while coordinating across agencies and with Ministers' offices.

Qualifications

• Experience briefing Ministers' offices and senior leaders.
• Ability to provide clear strategic advice in fast-moving environments.
• Experience with identity services improvement or ODESC would be advantageous.
